Avatar of Melandru?
I've seen it used for like... ever! in PvP. What I really want to know is how they have a large enough energy pool to cast anything after the massive 25 energy cost for using the form..
O.o like, how does switching to a high energy staff help? wont switching back to your scythe give you 0 energy which is good enough to do... nothing? can somebody please explain to me how energy management works on Avatar of Melandru? I reallllllllly want to use it! |

they do tend use a +energy staff to switch to but this is actually only in case of dp
they generally have a large enough pool to start with however yes you are right they have a large deficit right after they use it. This can be made up with a zealous scythe and when your enchants end you should get some energy back. The e management is the major drawback of the mel build so little energy is going to be something your going to have to deal with. |

if your having trouble keeping energy up while using AoM, use it with attackers insight and lyssa's assult. then depending on your wind prayers attribute rank, you can also use up to 2 more 10e attacks for free, i.e. chilling victory and pious assult or even another lyssa's assult to gain back almost all of your energy.

A high-energy staff if needed for DP, and maybe a zealous scythe.
12 Mysticism and a bunch of RoFs/Veils/Aegises/Patient Spirits etc. flying around does most of the work. Monks r gud. |

i can see attackers working even at 6 but lyssa's requires 10e to begin with which might be hard to manage in the deficit you get however if your good at waiting it out you could use it but yea attackers is a good option
and in ha/ta/gvg what alex said |

Ooh, and for the +1 - Lyssa's Assault is a really horrible skill. Not even running the uber-expensive Melandru is justification enough to add such a steaming pile of dolyak crap onto your bar.
Just rely on Mysticism and Zealous and take good skills. |

thanks, but the problem i have is that if I use AoM and zealous renewal i won't have any energy to do much of anything, unless you were talking about a Zealous scythe?
